January 4
When you find yourself feeling stressed, and your mind is going a million directions at once and you can't seem to find Me, please take a moment and just breathe! Take a deep breath and breathe in My presence. Do that a few times, especially in highly stressful times. As you are doing this, consciously let go of all the thoughts in your mind battling for your attention. Let them go, and start to relax your body. Quiet your mind and heart and intentionally be still before Me. It is then you will find Me and connect to Me, and I can help you.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

There are tasks you perform that may be unpleasant, difficult, or unenjoyable. Sometimes you do them grudgingly or avoid doing them altogether. Either way, it doesn’t make you feel good inside and robs you of peace. Let Me show you a better way. I want you to change how you are thinking about these tasks. Think about how I have given you strength and good health to be able to do the task. Work at it with all of your heart as if doing it for Me. Do it for My glory and in My name. Listen to praise music, sing to Me, or think of all your blessings as you perform the work. You will find by doing it this way that peace will return, and you may even find the joy in it.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  -Colossians 3:17

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.  -Colossians 3:23

I am in your presence at all times, interacting with you. You know it in your mind, but is it really in your heart where you believe it? Look with your spiritual eyes and see what I am doing, how I interact with you. There are times I am sitting by your side watching TV with you. I join you at meals and enjoy your conversations. When you wake up at night, I am sitting right there next to you. When you're going through a difficult time, I have My arms around you. I take your hand and guide you when you don't know what to do. I sometimes kneel in front of you, gently cupping your chin and lifting your head so that you gaze into My loving eyes. I love when you make time to spend with Me, when you are awakened and look with your spiritual eyes for where I am in the room, and how we are interacting. Become aware of My constant presence in your life. I love spending time with you.
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You  know when I sit and when I rise; you  perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.  -Psalm 139:1-6
October 16  
You suddenly find yourself in a situation that you have no control over, didn't want to be in and have no idea what to do. Fear takes over and is paralyzing. You are overwhelmed and feel defeated and hopeless. My child, turn to Me and allow Me to help. Stop thinking about what happened and take those thoughts captive. Don't look back at what was or could have been or should be. Don't look to the side at the "what if's" or all the obstacles or impossibilities. Look straight at Me, walk on water wit Me and do not waiver. Keep your eyes focused on Me and who I am to you! This is where all your Bible reading and spending time with Me helps tremendously because you really have gotten to know Me and are able to put your trust in Me for such a time as this. If you haven't been doing these things, start now. It really helps to have a personal relationship with Me to quicken your faith and trust. I will give you one step at a time to take and will walk with you, hand in hand.
Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.    -Philippians 4:8
